SLAN happens, or at least it seems that way.
SLAN was good, much beer and food was had, many games were played, all had a good time and not much sleep.
As with nearly all SLAN's, technical issues were abound - be it the untimely demise of an onboard NIC, to the PC rebuild caused bt a supersized video card upgrade, or perhaps network failure because SOMEONE decided to silence his gigaswitch by removing the fan.
No door prizes this time (or the next time either for that matter!), but no absences either, which is a good thing for all.
So, onward we must now go. To greener pastures? Perhaps. To the Next Event? Definitely!
Any suggestions for when it should be, you know what to do. |
